Senovo is recruiting a Deaf Support Teaching Assistant for an inclusive specialist provision in Hillingdon. This is a rewarding opportunity to improve access, communication and participation for deaf and hearing-impaired pupils.
The role
- Support pupils to access lessons, instructions and classroom discussion.
- Reinforce communication strategies and adapt resources with the teaching team.
- Encourage confidence, independence and positive peer interaction.
- Contribute observations to teachers and specialist professionals.
About you
- Experience supporting deaf or hearing-impaired children is desirable.
- BSL or another relevant communication qualification would be an advantage.
- You are attentive, encouraging and committed to accessible education.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £105 - £140 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Hillingdon.
