The opportunity
A friendly SEN school in Barking and Dagenham is seeking a teaching assistant for pupils with complex learning, communication and sensory needs.
What you will do
- Support accessible lessons, communication routines and sensory activities.
- Follow individual support plans and agreed regulation strategies.
- Encourage participation while respecting each pupil’s pace and choices.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and care staff.
What you will bring
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs.
- A calm, reliable approach and confident safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
