Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant – Bexley Location: Bexley Contract: Temporary Pay: £100–£130 per day PAYE
- Build dependable relationships and reinforce clear classroom routines.
- Use agreed regulation and de-escalation strategies before difficulties escalates.
- Support pupils to recognise emotions, make choices and return to learning.
- Record patterns and progress accurately for teachers and pastoral colleagues.
- Maintain firm professional boundaries and a restorative, respectful approach.
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural or emotional needs.
- Confidence staying calm, consistent and solution-focused under pressure.
- Strong communication, teamwork and safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
