Senovo is recruiting a Autism Support Assistant for a welcoming specialist education setting in Richmond upon Thames. This is a consistent, pupil-focused opportunity for someone who wants to make a practical difference while working as part of an experienced school team.
The role
- Support autistic pupils with communication, learning and classroom routines.
- Use visual structure, clear language and consistent approaches.
- Encourage participation, confidence and increasing independence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists and the wider SEN team.
About you
- Relevant experience in SEN, autism support, care, childcare or youth work is welcomed.
- You are patient, dependable and attentive to individual communication needs.
- You understand the importance of routine, regulation and safeguarding.
- QTS is not required for this support role.
Pay: £95 - £115 per day PAYE.
Contract: Full time.
Location: Richmond upon Thames.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and complete Senovo's compliance process, including suitable references and an enhanced child-workforce DBS check.
