Job Description
The opportunity
An inclusive SEN school in Islington is looking for a teaching assistant who can help autistic pupils communicate, participate and feel secure throughout the school day.
What you will do
- Use visual timetables, structured choices and agreed communication systems.
- Support learning through clear routines and carefully paced activities.
- Encourage independence, social interaction and emotional regulation.
- Work closely with teachers and therapy colleagues.
What you will bring
- Relevant autism, SEN, classroom or care experience.
- A calm, observant and reliable approach.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
