Autism Classroom Assistant – EalingLocation: EalingContract: TemporaryPay: £105–£140 per day PAYEThe opportunityA welcoming SEN school in Ealing is looking for a reliable classroom assistant to help autistic pupils access learning, communication and daily routines in a calm, structured environment.
What you will do
- Use visual schedules, first-and-then language and consistent classroom routines.
- Support communication, sensory regulation and positive participation.
- Adapt activities so pupils can work at an appropriate pace.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists and record useful observations.
What you will bring
- Experience supporting autistic children or young people in education or care.
- An observant, patient approach and respect for individual communication preferences.
- Reliable teamwork and strong safeguarding awareness.
- QTS is not required for this classroom-support role.
