- Proven experience supporting Autistic children and/or children with ADHD - calm, patient and genuinely at ease
- Understanding and use of AAC devices and Makaton - confident using alternative communication approaches daily
- Understanding of sensory processing differences - able to read G10's sensory needs and respond appropriately
- Awareness of PICA and food safety vigilance - G10 may mouth or ingest non-food items
- Familiar with ABA-informed approaches, positive reinforcement and visual support strategies
- Confident maintaining clear, consistent routines and boundaries - structure is central to G10's wellbeing
- Creative and proactive in planning active, exciting activities suited to a sensory-seeking adventurer
- Light household duties associated with the children and general activities around the children
- Full UK driving licence- essential for school runs, activities and community outings (car provided for use with children).
- Travel with the family to Croatia mid July - early September during yearly visits
- Genuinely committed to a long term placement
