Times will be agreed in advance between family and Sennie. Hours will include travel from Dad's house to Mum's (to pick up the child) and back again.

Minimum of 2+ years SEN childcare experience.
Confident supporting routines such as feeding, naps, and play-based learning.
Warm, nurturing and attentive.
Energetic and engaging, able to plan and deliver stimulating, play-based activities that support development.
Patient and calm.
Strong awareness of safety, with the ability to supervise closely and carry out dynamic risk assessments.
Full, clean UK driving licence and confident driver.
Reliable, punctual and organised, with good communication skills.
Provide attentive, high-quality care for G2 during contact time, ensuring her safety, wellbeing and engagement at all times.
Accompany Dad and his support worker to collect G2 from her mother’s home and support her throughout travel and transitions.
Support all aspects of daily care, including feeding, hygiene and supervision, promoting age-appropriate independence.
Facilitate engaging, play-based activities such as drawing, physical play and interactive games to support development and enjoyment.
Support early speech, language and communication development through modelling language, play and responsive interaction.
Encourage social engagement and interaction, adapting approaches to meet G2’s individual needs and communication style.
Provide a calm, structured and nurturing environment, supporting emotional regulation and smooth transitions between activities.
Model positive, developmentally appropriate interactions for Dad, supporting his understanding of parenting strategies and child development.
Support Dad to engage confidently with G2 through play, routines and shared activities, offering guidance in a respectful and empowering way.
Accompany G2 on outings and community activities, ensuring safety and appropriate support throughout.
Support the return journey and handover to G2’s mother at the end of contact.
Maintain clear communication with the family and professionals as required, providing updates on G2’s care, development and engagement.
