Educational learning needs include severe speech, language, and communication disorder, selective mutism, anxiety, OCD, slow processing speed, sensory disorder, dyspraxia, dyslexia, developmental delays, sleep disorder, and medical needs (gastroesophageal reflux, borderline immunity levels).

Qualified and experienced teacher β PGCE, Cert Ed, Level 5 DET, QTS or QTLS essential.
Experience teaching Functional Skills (Entry Level) within an SEN or specialist setting, or an experienced KS2 Primary teacher with SEN experience.
Ability, experience, and confidence to assess G21βs learning levels, abilities, and interests; research, assess, and select appropriate Entry Level Functional Skills board qualifications and modules in collaboration with the family and multi-disciplinary team; independently plan and develop the Functional Skills teaching programme, teach the programme on a 1:1 basis, adapting the programme as necessary, prepare G21 for accreditation, gathering evidence for board submissions.
Additionally, a strong desire to support, develop, and care for G21 on a 1:1 basis across all settings (Home, Community, and Alternative Provision) throughout the working day, developing independence and social skills, and ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing.
Strong understanding of complex SEND needs including speech and language disorders, selective mutism, anxiety, sensory disorder, and OCD.
Inspirational, empathetic, highly flexible and adaptable, understanding, patient, and emotionally attuned β able to build deep trust with a young adult who needs consistency and advocacy.
Highly independent, reliable, and self-motivated.
Skilled at adapting teaching methods, pace, and content to suit communication, learning, anxiety, sensory, and processing needs.
A genuine love of learning through fun β able to weave interests, hobbies, and creativity into every lesson.
Experience or openness to working in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team including SALT, OT, psychology, and art therapy.
Excellent organisational skills β able to track progress, gather evidence, and liaise with EHCP professionals.
Knowledge of or openness to assistive technologies and AAC methods (e.g. Makaton, PECS).
Full, clean UK driving licence with a minimum of 3 years experience post passing driving test.
Female candidate (Non Smoker) β preferred by the family for personal care reasons.
Lives within approximately 10 miles of Windsor, Berkshire.
