We are proud of our finely engineered microphones and audio solutions that connect people and create remarkable sound experiences - whether in the studio, conference room, or on stage. For us, the audio industry is one of the most exciting to work in. In our global family business, you can expect not only a unique team where we trust, value and support each other, but also the opportunity to make your own significant contribution to our collective progress.
We are looking for a driven and commercially minded Sales Manager to identify new business opportunities, build long‑term customer partnerships, and deliver high‑quality technical audio solutions that meet customer needs. In this highly visible, customer‑facing role, you will proactively sell Sennheiser and Neumann products to a diverse customer base including Resellers, Dealers, Integrators, Distributors, National Accounts, and End Users.
About The Role
- You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, acquiring new business while strengthening existing relationships, planning and executing sales activity aligned with corporate strategy, and leading pricing and contract negotiations.
- You will strategically develop accounts by analysing customer needs, market trends, and competitor activity, creating tailored development plans to drive growth, increase market share, and exceed territory and sub‑regional sales targets and KPIs.
- Working closely with internal sales and technical teams, you will manage the order process, provide customer support and technical guidance, represent the brand at customer events and trade shows, and ensure all customer interactions and opportunities are accurately captured in the CRM system.
Success in this role requires a proven ability to acquire new customers while developing and expanding existing accounts across a diverse customer base. The role demands strong proactive selling and negotiation capability, with the ability to plan and execute territory strategies that drive market share growth and exceed sales targets and KPIs. It requires confidence in presenting Sennheiser and Neumann products and solutions, translating technical features into clear customer benefits, and answering medium‑level technical questions. Strong relationship‑building, networking, and stakeholder management skills are essential, alongside the ability to analyse customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and account performance. Effective communication, active listening, analytical thinking, and disciplined CRM and pipeline management are critical, as is the ability to work collaboratively with internal sales, technical, customer service and marketing teams to deliver seamless customer solutions. Strong organisation, time management, empathy, and social competence are essential. The role also requires regular travel of up to four days per week and a collaborative, team‑oriented mindset focused on delivering long‑term customer value.
Competencies/Qualifications
- 4-year University degree
- 5+ years experience in outside sales, preferably in Professional Audio, IT/AV or related technical sales and working with Customers
- Min 3 years knowledge of the Audio or AV industry, with IT and Networking Experience
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Ability to travel up to 4 days per week, including overnight travel as needed. May consider less education with more years of related sales experience
