At Sennen Education we are working with a welcoming primary school in Manchester, who are seeking a committed and creative Learning Support Assistant. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary-aged children and is confident to conduct planned small-group intervention sessions to support children’s learning. As a Learning Support Assistant you should: * Have good time management and know how to multitask * Be flexible and patient * Be able to communicate effectively within a team * Undertake duties as directed by teaching staff or head of departments. To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role, you will need: * A minimum of three months experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references. * Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one) * Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks * Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained * Have the legal right to work in the UK By registering with Sennen Education, you will benefit from: * Experienced consultant to offer support and advice * We can offer you certified CPD courses * A generous referral scheme – recommend a friend and earn a reward * Full interview preparation and assistance – so you're fully prepped and confident, increasing your chances of success Safeguarding children is at the heart of what we do and we undertake checks on all the candidates we work with.
