Sennen Education are looking for an Intervention Support Worker who is looking to start their career or further their experience working with children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties. This is an opportunity to be supportive in the learning journey of children within a fantastic school. The role is ongoing and long-term with immediate start subject to the relevant checks being completed. The role has the opportunity to go permanent for the right person.
This role will require driving responsibilities and a valid UK driving license and owning your own car is essential for this role.
To be considered for the role you will ideally have:
- A desire to gain experience supporting pupils who require additional support with their learning and may have additional behavioural challenges, or you may be looking to build on your existing experience.
- A minimum of six weeks experience of supporting young people which you can evidence with references.
- Enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to pay for a new one).
- Provide a CV with up to date employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
