Expleo is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DevOps) to join our team, supporting a key client on a maternity cover contract through to March 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a collaborative squad, driving high-quality software delivery, performance, and reliability in a modern DevOps environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering robust, scalable software as part of a cross-functional team
- Driving DevOps best practices across development, QA, and operations
- Improving CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Ensuring application performance, stability, and reliability
- Mentoring junior team members and contributing to technical excellence
- Solving complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment
Skills and experience required:
- Strong experience in:
- Java, Spring
- AWS, CI/CD pipelines
- SQL / NoSQL databases
- REST APIs & message brokers
- Testing (JUnit)
Bonus skills:
- Deployment strategies, scripting, JSON
- Familiarity with Jira and modern testing frameworks
