Senior Salmon are working with our Leicester based client and we are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist / Toolmaker to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in precision machining or toolmaking.
Ideally we are looking for candidates with experience programming with Visi (or a similar CAD/CAM package) and who have worked with both aluminium and steel tooling.
Key Responsibilities:- Programming and setting CNC machines
- Operating CNC machining centres
- Manufacturing and modifying tools and components in aluminium and steel
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and/or Toolmaker
- Experience working with aluminium and steel
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
These positions are offered as permanent contracts and the salary will depend on experience.
