Our client in Sutton In Ashfield has two opportunities available for the role of Technical Lead to work within their manufacturing facility. These roles are offered on a temp to perm basis; one role will support the fabrication team, and the other role will support the assembly team.
Your main responsibilities would be:
- Deliver against operational targets through problem solving and collaboration with Group Lead.
- Identify and deliver training in line with employee development plans.
- Support onsite inductions.
- Support the following: Zero Incident Workplace Culture, Manufacturing Process Design, Manufacturing Value.
- Monitor and improve operational flow to deliver high levels of efficiency along with eliminating waste.
- Timely and accurate processing of information and data.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist Group Lead in day to day responsibilities and workload planning.
- Support relationships with other teams and work collaboratively with other departments.
The essential skills and experience we are looking for:
- Manufacturing experience (Ideally within Assembly).
- Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings.
- Use of inspection equipment.
- In depth knowledge and understanding of technical processes in order to overcome operational issues.
- SAP knowledge preferred.
- Good communicator, a team-player, able to motivate others.
- Able to plan, organise and prioritise own and others workload.
Hours of Work: 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 2:00pm on Friday, with a 30 minute unpaid meal break each day.
