We are currently recruiting for CNC machinists to work in Sutton in-Ashfield.

Shifts will be days, nights and afternoons rotating (6am 2pm / 10pm - 6am / 2pm 10pm).

Pay rate starts at £18.12 per hour.

  • Read and understand mechanical engineering drawings.
  • Be able to use and read inspection equipment such as bore mics, external mics, digital callipers, and height gauges.
  • Set and operate Mazak lathes, Mazak turn mills, and Mazak vertical mills. Controls include Matrix and Smart.
  • Have CNC tooling knowledge and tool wear monitoring.
  • Edit Mazatrol programs. Programming Mazatrol is not essential but advantageous.

The assignment is temporary ongoing.
