We require an experienced tool setter for an immediate start within our clients Injection Molding facility. Working regular DAYS Monday to Friday working hours are very desirable. Candidates MUST have previous experience changing tools within a plastics industry and have an eye for detail as you will be expected to inspect first 'run offs' and spot potential problems with the tools.
Key Tasks:
- The safe mounting and dismounting of injection mould tools
- The correct disposition of all waste from the moulding process
- Maximising machine utilisation & overall equipment effectiveness
- Responsible for trouble-shooting
- Responding to red-lights
- Support the safe and effective operation of mould shop equipment and the production of moulded components to the required standard
- Support continuous improvement initiatives
