Senior Salmon are working exclusively with our global manufacturing Client in Somercotes, Alfreton and we are looking to recruit Operatives on their behalf on a permanent basis. Position Overview
- Sueding Machine Operative, Fabric Finishing
- 38 hours per week.
- 3 shift rotation (Days 05:45-13:45, Nights 21:45-05:45, Afternoons 13:45-21:45).
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and quality procedures.
- Set up and operate sueding machinery to meet production targets.
- Monitor quality and adjust machine settings as required.
- Change and set up rollers/grit to suit fabric specifications.
- Carry out fabric inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Complete basic machine maintenance and keep work area clean.
- Good attention to detail and ability to work well as part of a team is essential for this role.
Benefits
- £14.96 per hour with full training provided.
- Overtime and 2x hourly rate, depending on when worked.
- Short shifts on Friday, with Night shift finishing at 23:45.
- 29 days annual leave, increasing to 31 then 33 days upon 5 and 10-years service.
