Overview
Senior Helpers of SWVA is urgently hiring caregivers with experience in assisted living facilities, independent living facilities, senior living facilities, nursing homes, home care, or healthcare. The base pay range is $14.00/hr – $16.00/hr. We aim to match your area of expertise to the seniors you’ll care for and provide an in-home connection designed to give clients the best possible quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
- Provide companionship and emotional support by engaging in conversation and recreational activities
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up
Qualifications
- Caring and compassionate—you enjoy helping others
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist your clients
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance or nursing assistance is a plus
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Current negative TB test results
