Since then, we have evolved to become one of the industry leaders in the design, development and manufacture of pressure duct systems, flexible joints and insulation for highly regulated industries. We have established customers in aerospace (both civil and military), as well as in the nuclear, oil and gas, chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.
Job Description
Manufacture and fabricate complex ducting assemblies to a high standard using specialised tooling and fixtures. Perform a range of sheet metal operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and approved quality standards.
- Manufacture and fabricate complex ducting assemblies
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine how products are to be correctly manufactured
- Experience working with thin gauge Titanium, Stainless steel and nickel alloy
- Operate hand tools, production machinery and tooling to cut, machine, form, shape and size components to their required dimensions specified on engineering drawings
- Apply in-house routing and processes, ensuring the correct calibrated equipment is used.
Qualifications
We are seeking an apprentice-qualified or time-served Sheet Metal Worker with a strong engineering background in aerospace, pharmaceutical, defence, or other highly regulated industries.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in ducting manufacture and be confident working with or without manufacturing jigs and assembly aids. You\’ll have hands-on experience using production tooling and machinery, as well as converting raw materials and purchased parts into high-quality, saleable products. Competence in working with Titanium, Stainless Steel, and Nickel Alloys is essential, along with a solid understanding of engineering tolerances.
In addition, the candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, with excellent hand-eye coordination, effective problem-solving skills to identify and resolve fabrication issues, and the ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Continuous Improvement, and Quality.
