Salary: £32,489.60 per annum, inclusive of shift premium
What You’ll Do:
- Setting, adjusting and optimising injection moulding machines to meet quality and output targets
- Carrying out full tool changes within the Injection Moulding department
- Ensuring mould protection procedures are followed during tool removal
- Completing regular quality control checks and maintaining accurate records
- Restarting machines efficiently after tool, insert or colour changes with minimal scrap
- Following process setting sheets and standard operating procedures
- Supporting downtime reduction initiatives alongside Process Engineering and Production teams
- Updating production monitoring systems with tool changes, breakdowns and process updates
You’ll work closely with Production Team Leaders, Process Engineers and Quality, reporting into site operations management.
What We’re Looking For in the Injection Moulding Technician Job:
Essential:
- Hands-on experience with injection moulding machines
- Basic robotics knowledge or exposure
- Good written and spoken English
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
Rotational shifts: 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 (weekly rotation)
