Senex Recruitment is collaborating with a long-established and friendly manufacturing company based near Burgess Hill. We are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Setter/Operator to join their team on a part-time, permanent basis.
The Role
As a CNC Machine Setter/Operator, you will be an integral part of a small and close-knit machine shop team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Setting and operating CNC machines (with FANUC controls)
- Reading technical drawings and working to tight tolerances
- Completing production paperwork and inspections
- Receiving and managing stock
- Ensuring quality control of manufactured parts
This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone with at least 2–3 years of experience working with FANUC CNC controls and a strong background in machine setting and operating. You should be confident working in a small-team environment, dependable, flexible, and have a practical, hands-on approach to your work. Due to the location of the site, access to your own transport is essential.
Working Hours
Part-Time: 4–6 hours per day with flexible daytime hours available.
