The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

The Welsh Parliament is committed to reducing its environmental impacts and to acting as an exemplar in sustainability. The Senedd has a successful track record in this area and this post will play a key role in ensuring continued effective sustainability performance and improvement to meet our sustainability targets and objectives.

The post is based within the Estates and Facilities Management service and the post holder will report to the Head of FM Services and Sustainability. They will also need to work co-operatively and effectively with other members of the team, contractors and stakeholders to ensure achievement of our sustainability objectives and to promote sustainability across the organisation.

The post holder will be responsible for managing our Carbon Neutral Strategy targets for energy, water, waste and travel and for public reporting via the Sustainability Annual Report. The Senedd currently has ISO14001 certification and the post holder will take the lead role in maintaining this or an equivalent standard.

The post holder must have experience of operating and managing environmental management systems and a successful track record of driving continuous improvement to achieve environmental targets.
