At Kingswood, we believe in the power and importance of truly holistic education. We value inspirational teaching and learning in a caring, supportive and inclusive community, where academic achievement and high standards are combined with a sense of responsibility and service.
For the 2026-2027 academic year, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified and experienced teacher to work in the Learning Support Department, supporting pupils with a range of Specific Learning Difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dysgraphia, ASD or ADHD, to ensure that they are able to reach their full academic potential.
The successful candidate must have a qualification in teaching pupils with Specific Learning Difficulties (Level 5) as well as relevant experience. In addition, a postgraduate SpLD Level 7 qualification or equivalent which allows them to assess for access arrangements, would be an advantage.
In return we offer a competitive benefits package, and a supportive and exciting educational environment in which colleagues can develop, thrive and make a difference to the hearts and minds of young people. The role is part-time for three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) for the 2026/27 academic year.
The closing date for applications is Monday 28 September, midday.
Kingswood is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Successful candidates will be required to complete relevant safeguarding and enhanced DBS checks, including a check of the children's barred list.
