SENDhelp is recruiting an experienced School Administrator to join a welcoming school in Southall. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position, working from 8:30am to 4:00pm. We are looking for a confident, organised and approachable individual with previous experience working in a school office. You will play an important role in the smooth running of the school, supporting staff, pupils and parents while managing a range of administrative responsibilities.
The School Administrator role will include:
- Answering telephone calls, responding to enquiries and passing on messages
- Welcoming visitors, parents and professionals to the school
- Maintaining accurate pupil and administrative records
- Supporting attendance, admissions and general office processes
- Assisting teaching and senior leadership staff with administrative tasks
- Administering first aid to pupils when required
Previous administrative experience within a UK school office is essential, along with strong communication and organisational skills. The ability to remain calm, professional and organised in a busy school environment is crucial. A willingness to administer first aid when required is also necessary. A valid first aid certificate is highly desirable, and candidates who already hold one must be able to present the original physical certificate. However, candidates without a current certificate are still encouraged to apply. First aid training is required for this School Administrator position, and SENDhelp will pay for you to attend an in-person first aid course before starting the role.
