The Role – Level 3 Nursery Practitioner
- Shifts within 7am-6pm daily Monday-Friday all year round
- As a
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner , you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
- Support children's learning, development and emotional wellbeing.
- Observe, assess and record children's progress accurately.
- Act as a key person, maintaining strong partnerships with families.
- Encourage children's independence, creativity and curiosity through play.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and health & safety policies are followed at all times.
- Support meal times, personal care and daily routines.
- Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to provide outstanding childcare.
Qualifications & Experience Required
To be successful as a
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner , you will have
Minimum CACHE Level 3 Nursery Practitioner qualification
(or recognised equivalent in Early Years).
- Previous experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting.
- Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
