We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to work closely with pupils both in the classroom and through tailored interventions. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children who benefit from consistent, patient, and understanding support.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with SEND on a one‑to‑one and small‑group basis
- Assist the class teacher with learning activities and behaviour support strategies
- Encourage pupil engagement, independence, and emotional regulation
- Support communication, social interaction, and personal development
- Help maintain a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
- Follow individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
- Provide personal care support where required (training provided)

Experience Required
- Previous experience working with children or young people (formal or informal)
- Experience supporting individuals with SEND is desirable but not essential
- A genuine interest in inclusive education and child development
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
