We are seeking dedicated, resilient, and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our specialist SEND school. The role involves supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD, many who have behavioural needs, across Warrington.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, both in and out of the classroom
  • Assist with the delivery of personalised learning programmes and behaviour support plans
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals
  • Support pupils with personal, social, and emotional development
  • Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with ASD and ADHD, ideally within a SEND or specialist setting
  • Experience supporting pupils with behavioural needs
  • A Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Team Teach training (essential or willingness to undertake training)
  • A calm, patient, and consistent approach to behaviour management
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

Pay: £85.00–£90.00 per day
