Are you an experienced teacher seeking a change from the rigid classroom environment? Are you passionate about enabling those struggling with their education and cant engage in a school setting?
Here at the Specialist SEND Group, we’re supporting multiple students in the Wigan area with their engagement with education and core academic skills. Whether it’s students on the verge of exclusion, anxious school non-attenders or those with complex needs, we have students that meet each tutor’s specialism.
Utilizing a bespoke curriculum, our team of tutors create fun and engaging lesson plans around students and their interests. We prioritize building positive relationships and lifting confidence amongst our cohort, ultimately guiding them back into education.
Experience working with SEND/SEMH students will come as an advantage to applicants, but resilience, passion and empathy comes as a must.
Students have variable hours, but candidates looking for more have the option to be assigned to additional referrals via our Specialist SEND Tutoring service.
