We are seeking an exceptional and driven Regional Head to lead and inspire our work across a multi-site provision. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate leader to shape the future of alternative education, champion young people, and empower teams to deliver life-changing outcomes. As Regional Head, you will provide strategic leadership, ensure operational excellence, and set a clear vision for high-quality provision—supporting young people to achieve positive futures.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership and Vision
- Provide clear, values-driven leadership across the region
- Develop and articulate an ambitious vision for each centre
- Lead on strategy, turning ideas into effective plans and delivery
- Chair leadership and governance meetings
- Line manage key staff and drive high performance
- Developing People and Practice
- Inspire, motivate, and develop staff and young people
- Build a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Lead difficult conversations and decision-making with confidence and empathy
- Support staff wellbeing and professional development
- Build strong partnerships with external agencies and stakeholders

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
- GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Relevant leadership qualifications in education, SEND, youth work, or related fields
- NASENCO (or willingness to achieve)
- IOSH (or willingness to achieve)
- Level 2 and Level 3 Safeguarding (DSL) training
Essential Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ senior leadership experience
- Experience leading teams within education, SEND, or community provision
- Experience working with external partners and agencies
- Experience leading staff development and improvement
- Strong safeguarding and health & safety knowledge and practice
- Experience implementing policies, systems, and procedures
- Experience analysing data to drive improvement
