We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full‑time Teaching Assistant to join the team, working closely with a child who has experienced trauma and attachment challenges. This role requires someone with extensive experience in managing challenging behaviour and a naturally calm and nurturing nature.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one‑on‑one support to a child with trauma and attachment issues.
  • Assist in implementing personalised strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support for the child.
  • Encourage social and emotional development through patient and empathetic interaction.
  • Monitor and report on the child’s progress, adapting strategies as needed.

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.
  • A naturally calm and composed demeanour.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional development of children.
