We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full‑time Teaching Assistant to join the team, working closely with a child who has experienced trauma and attachment challenges. This role requires someone with extensive experience in managing challenging behaviour and a naturally calm and nurturing nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one‑on‑one support to a child with trauma and attachment issues.
- Assist in implementing personalised strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure consistent support for the child.
- Encourage social and emotional development through patient and empathetic interaction.
- Monitor and report on the child’s progress, adapting strategies as needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven ability to manage challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.
- A naturally calm and composed demeanour.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
