Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a welcoming and supportive SEND school in Northwich, working with a class of nine students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Role:
This role involves teaching KS3/4 students with additional needs, focusing on creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment. You’ll work closely with a team of skilled teaching assistants and other professionals to deliver tailored lessons that support the educational and personal development of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons to meet the needs of students with ASD.
  • Foster a nurturing and supportive classroom environment where every child feels valued and motivated to learn.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team to ensure the holistic development of each student.
  • Monitor progress, set achievable targets, and provide regular feedback to students, parents, and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other personalised learning strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with students with ASD or within a SEND setting.
  • Strong understanding of SEND best practices and approaches to managing behaviours.
  • A compassionate and patient individual who is committed to making a positive difference.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: £127.05-£137.16 per day
