Are you a qualified teacher seeking a change from the rigid classroom environment? Are you passionate about enabling those struggling with their education?

Here at the Specialist SEND Group, we’re supporting multiple students in the Leigh, Wigan area with their engagement with education and core academic skills. Whether it’s students on the verge of exclusion, anxious school non-attenders or those with complex needs, we have students who meet each tutor’s specialism.

Utilising a bespoke curriculum, our team of tutors create fun and engaging lesson plans around the child and their interests. We prioritise building positive relationships and lifting confidence amongst our cohort, ultimately guiding them back into education.

Experience working with SEND/SEMH students will come as an advantage to applicants, but resilience, passion and empathy comes as a must.

We currently have a Primary School Leaner in need of tutoring, and we’re lucky enough to be part of their journey towards empowerment.

Students have variable hours, but candidates looking for more have the option to be assigned to additional referrals via our Specialist SEND Tutoring service.
