Specialist SEND Group is seeking a dedicated Specialist SEND Tutor to support a Key Stage 3 student in Atherton who is currently out of school and requires a personalised, home-based education programme. This role is perfect for an education professional who values relationship-led practice and wants to make a meaningful difference to a young person’s educational journey.
About the Role
You will deliver 1:1 tuition in the learner’s home, following a bespoke curriculum designed to meet both academic and emotional needs.
Hours: 10 hours per week including paid PPA time
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting re-engagement with education
- Building confidence and trust
- Delivering core KS3 subjects (English, Maths, and wider learning as appropriate)
- Supporting emotional wellbeing and self-regulation
- Working towards longer-term reintegration goals where suitable
Each placement is carefully matched, and you will receive ongoing support from our experienced SEND team.
