Job description

Are you a qualified and passionate SEND Tutor looking for a rewarding, flexible role where you can make a real difference?

We are looking for an experienced SEND Tutor to support a learner on a 1:1 basis who is currently working towards an ASDAN qualification .

This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver personalised, meaningful learning that helps a young person develop the skills and confidence to achieve recognised accreditation.

The successful tutor must be registered to submit ASDAN evidence and have experience delivering and assessing ASDAN programmes.

The Role

  • Deliver 3 hours of face-to-face tuition per week .
  • Receive an additional 1 hour of paid planning and administration time each week.
  • Plan engaging, learner-centred sessions tailored to the learner’s individual needs and learning style.
  • Gather, assess and submit evidence in line with ASDAN requirements.
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider professional team and family where appropriate.
  • Adapt teaching approaches to meet the learner’s SEND needs while promoting confidence, independence and engagement.

About You

We are looking for someone who is

  • An experienced SEND Tutor or Qualified Teacher.

Registered to submit ASDAN evidence (essential).

  • Experienced in delivering ASDAN qualifications.
  • Passionate about supporting learners with additional needs.
  • Patient, creative and flexible in their approach.
  • Confident planning personalised learning programmes.
  • Committed to helping learners achieve positive outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND.
  • ASDAN registration and experience submitting learner evidence.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.

What We Offer
