The Role
- Lead and coordinate SEND provision across the school
- Manage EHCPs, Annual Reviews, and statutory SEND processes
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure high-quality inclusive practice
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs to achieve their full potential
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusion strategies
- Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of pupils with SEND, implementing effective interventions where required
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- The National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it)
- Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practice
- Experience working within a primary school setting
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- A child-centred and solution-focused approach
- A passion for creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed
