Class sizes are small to ensure high levels of individual attention and care. Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to lead a small Year 5/6 class of 8 pupils, each with a variety of SEND, including autism and associated learning needs. This is a long-term role to start as soon as possible, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver differentiated and engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of each pupil * Foster a safe, inclusive and structured learning environment * Collaborate with support staff, families, and outside professionals to implement EHCPs and learning plans * Track and assess progress using both formal and informal methods * Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development * Adapt teaching methods to support communication and sensory needs Requirements: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification * Proven experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism and complex needs * Strong knowledge of SEND strategies and a flexible, child-centred approach * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * A calm, resilient and empathetic teaching style What We Offer: * Daily rate of £169.62 – £230.96, depending on experience * Supportive leadership and a strong team ethos * Ongoing CPD and training in SEND best practice * Opportunity to secure a permanent position * A rewarding role making a real difference in children’s lives Application Process: If you are ready to take on a fulfilling teaching role and make a lasting impact on pupils with additional needs, we’d love to hear from you.
