SEND Teacher Start Date: ASAP Contract: Permanent Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum DOE We are excited to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEND school in Papworth Everard, seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND Teacher to join their friendly and supportive team. The school caters for primary and secondary-aged students with complex communication needs, Autism, and associated learning and emotional needs. With a maximum capacity of 30 students and small class sizes, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a nurturing, specialist environment. Key Responsibilities: * Plan, deliver, and assess creative and engaging lessons across a broad curriculum. * Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual communication, sensory, and learning needs. * Implement a multi-sensory and therapeutic teaching approach to promote engagement, progress, and wellbeing. * Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. * Work collaboratively with a skilled multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support. * Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and EHCP targets. Essential Requirements: * Hold QTS or QTLS OR have extensive SEND Teaching experience * Proven experience working with children or young people with Autism and complex needs. * Strong ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs. * A genuine passion for working in a specialist setting and supporting young learners to achieve their potential.
