Still love teaching just not the system? You didn’t train to spend evenings buried in marking. You didn’t enter the profession to feel constantly overwhelmed. You didn’t become a teacher to manage behaviour instead of inspiring learning. You became a teacher to change lives.

At SEND Inclusion Support, we offer experienced teachers the opportunity to step away from whole-class pressure and into purposeful, relationship-led work supporting vulnerable learners across Oxfordshire.

The Role

Nurture Teacher (1:1)

Through our Nurture Pathway, you will work 1:1 with pupils across Oxfordshire who are currently out of school due to:

  • Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH)
  • Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA)
  • Risk of exclusion or permanent exclusion
  • Anxiety, trauma or disengagement from education

You will design and deliver bespoke, interest-led learning sessions tailored to each young person. This is relationship-first teaching. Your work will focus on rebuilding confidence, re-engaging learners and supporting successful reintegration into education at a pace that works for them.
