Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, ongoing (term-time only)

Pay: £150-£250 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

About the Role

SEND Inclusion Support are seeking a passionate and adaptable SEN Primary Teacher or HLTA to join a welcoming specialist primary setting in Farnborough. You’ll be leading a small KS1 class of 8 pupils, supported by 4 experienced Teaching Assistants. The school provides a nurturing, creative, and well‑resourced environment for pupils with autism, learning disabilities, and complex needs. This role is ideal for an experienced SEN Teacher or a HLTA ready to step into a teaching role. The position is to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, accessible lessons across core primary subjects.
  • Adapt learning to meet pupils’ individual EHCP targets and abilities.
  • Work collaboratively with support staff to maintain positive behaviour and progress.
  • Foster independence, confidence, and emotional development.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.

Requirements

  • QTS, HLTA qualification, or strong classroom teaching experience (essential).
  • Experience supporting children with ASC and/or complex learning needs.
  • Calm, patient, and creative approach to teaching and behaviour support.
  • Ability to start ASAP and commit to a full-time role.
  • A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable due to location.
