We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurture Teachers to join our team, providing support for children with SEND, SEMH needs, and those experiencing Emotional Based School Avoidance (EBSA). This is a highly rewarding role that involves working 1:1 with students both in the community and, on occasion, in their own homes.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience working with children who have SEND or SEMH needs and will be committed to creating a nurturing and supportive environment. You will play a vital role in helping students overcome challenges, build confidence, and achieve success both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide 1:1 nurture-based support to children with SEND, SEMH, and EBSA needs in the community and in students' homes.
  • Develop and implement personalised support plans tailored to each student’s individual needs, focusing on academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Create a calm, nurturing, and positive environment that encourages engagement, helping students to build resilience and self-confidence.
  • Support students with academic tasks, social skills, and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and the strategies used to support.
