About the Role

SEND Inclusion Support is working in partnership with a leading provider of specialist education and residential care for children and young people across the UK. In this role, you’ll become a vital part of a young person’s day-to-day life — supporting them through both challenges and achievements, helping them build confidence, independence, and a brighter future. It’s a rewarding position where small steps lead to meaningful outcomes.

The home in Hinckley provides a nurturing and structured environment for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH), supporting them to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the home, supporting both young people and the staff team. You’ll help maintain high standards of care and step in to deputise for the Registered and Deputy Managers when required. You’ll be someone who can build strong, positive relationships with young people, lead by example, and support your team through both routine and more challenging situations.

  • Base Salary: £35,400 – £42,664
  • Total Package: £39,680 – £46,944 per annum (based on good attendance and up to 3 sleep-ins per month)
  • Bonuses: Up to 3 sleep-ins per month paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £2,880 per year) and attendance allowance up to £1,400 per year

About You

  • Experience working within a children’s residential setting
  • A positive, resilient, and supportive approach
  • Ability to lead shifts and support colleagues effectively
  • A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
  • Full UK driving licence (held for at least 12 months)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children’s Residential Care (or equivalent)
