Are you an experienced Facilities Manager who takes pride in creating safe, well-maintained and welcoming environments? We’re looking for a proactive, hands-on Facilities Manager to join an independent school providing an outstanding education for children aged 2–13. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of the school’s facilities, grounds, compliance and site operations, while leading a dedicated site team across our campuses. 🔹 The role will include: * Overall responsibility for premises and facilities management * Leading on Health & Safety, fire safety, security and compliance * Managing planned and reactive maintenance programmes * Overseeing contractors, minor works and refurbishment projects * Managing site teams, rotas and day-to-day performance * Supporting school events, open days and external lettings * Managing maintenance budgets and prioritising investment * Conducting regular site inspections and driving high standards * Working closely with the Bursar, SLT and wider school community We’re looking for someone who is organised, practical, calm under pressure and confident leading people. You’ll need excellent attention to detail, a strong understanding of Health & Safety and Facilities Management, and the ability to be both strategic and hands-on when required.
