Senclude is recruiting a Specialist Notetaker to support a university student in York in receipt of Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).
Support starts September 2026.
Hours follow the student's academic timetable, so flexibility week to week is essential.
Responsibilities Attend lectures, seminars and tutorials and produce clear, accurate electronic notes on your laptop.
Deliver notes in the student's preferred format within 24 hours.
Capture all relevant content, discussion and diagrams.
Work professionally, helpfully and flexibly, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Complete timesheets accurately and promptly each month.
Qualifications and requirements Live within commutable distance of York.
Your own laptop with Wi Fi and a mobile data plan.
Fast, accurate typing with excellent spelling and grammar.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
A current DBS certificate or willingness to register.
Registered as self-employed and eligible to work in the UK.
Full training provided β successful applicants complete our Level 3 Note Taking course.
