Senclude is recruiting a Specialist Notetaker to support a Sheffield Hallam University student in receipt of Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA).
Support starts September 2026.
Hours follow the student's academic timetable, so flexibility week to week is essential.
Responsibilities
Take clear, comprehensive electronic notes in lectures, seminars and tutorials, capturing all relevant content, discussion and diagrams.
Deliver notes in the agreed format within 24 hours.
Work professionally, helpfully and flexibly, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Complete timesheets accurately and promptly each month.
Qualifications and requirements
Live within commutable distance of Sheffield.
Your own laptop with Wi Fi and a mobile data plan.
Fast, accurate typing with excellent literacy skills.
GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
A current DBS certificate or willingness to register.
Registered as self-employed and eligible to work in the UK.
Full training provided – successful applicants complete our Level 3 Note Taking course.
