To deliver on our ambitious plans for growth, we are seeking a Sales Manager to expand and support our activity throughout the UK & Europe. Ideally based in the UK, the role combines commercial with some technical activity and would suit somebody based in the region with experience in Technology Sales into the Rail, Infrastructure, or Construction markets.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for cultivating relationships with new and existing customers and commercial partners across the region leveraging sales, marketing, and technical services acumen. The Business Development Manager will develop go-to-market strategies, manage key accounts, onboard dealers and partners while ensuring customer success throughout the sales process.

Reporting to the Director of Sales / Head of Sales for Europe, this role is primarily remote, with regular travel across the region. We follow a hybrid working model, and some time will be expected at our office in Milton Keynes.

As Business Development Manager you will have to:

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies across Europe and the UK, focusing on key accounts, partners, and distributors to support business growth.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, including proposal development, client presentations, and coordination for smooth project execution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching markets, engaging with stakeholders, and participating in trade shows and industry events.
  • Manage and grow relationships with existing clients while expanding the customer base through strategic outreach and strong partnership development.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to align commercial efforts with business priorities, product development, and customer needs.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to support accurate sales forecasting and enhance Senceive’s product offering.
  • Represent the company externally, contribute to marketing campaigns, and promote brand awareness across target sectors in Europe and the UK.

What makes you an asset to our team:

  • You have a Bachelor degree in a relevant field preferably.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in a second language (such as German, French, or Spanish) considered a strong advantage.
  • You have relevant experience in Technology Sales into the Rail, Infrastructure, or Construction markets.
  • Have experience working with railway operators in the UK & Europe.
  • Knowledge of geotechnical instrumentation.
  • You demonstrate proven ability to negotiate and conflict resolution skills.
  • You have proven success designing and implementing business development strategy.
  • You strive to meet and exceed targets.
  • You are able and willing to travel at least 50% of the time and can accommodate a flexible work schedule.
  • You are self-motivated, collaboration-oriented, and a team player.
  • You are a top-notch presenter and communicator.
