This is a remote position. Position Overview: Our client is looking to hire a seasoned Structural Design Engineer with over 20 years of experience to conduct design quality checks provide training to new engineers and participate in occasional site visitations. This role is ideal for someone who may not be actively looking in the labor market but is open to a unique opportunity to leverage their extensive expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough design quality checks on structural engineering projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Review and evaluate structural designs calculations and specifications prepared by team members. Provide expert guidance and recommendations to enhance design accuracy and efficiency. Perform occasional site visitations to assess ongoing projects provide feedback and ensure adherence to design specifications. Train and mentor new engineers sharing best practices and knowledge to enhance their technical skills and professional development. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred). A minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design and engineering. Proven track record of conducting design quality checks and site assessments. Experience in training or mentoring junior engineers is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of structural design codes and regulations. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
