SEN Teacher - Poole, Dorset - Full-time, ongoing.
Are you an experienced SEN Teacher, looking for a full-time role?
SENCare Recruitment is currently seeking Teachers to support students with autism and severe learning difficulties.
The ideal SEN Teacher must have:
- At least 6 months experience teaching students with Autism and complex needs.
- A clear DBS on the update service
- Some PECs and Makaton experience
- Follow and track all students EHCPs
- Clear understanding of P-Levels
- Experience with children aged 4-19
- A compassionate and fun attitude towards work
Main duties:
- Providing specialist education for vulnerable children
- As Teacher you will work closely with other members of staff (TAs) to ensure all safeguarding procedures are met to ensure the safety of the children is not compromised.
- To liaise with senior leadership team to ensure all sensory expectations are met for each individual child.
