We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our supportive and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons, tailoring learning to meet the needs of our students. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with Autism and SEMH needs, helping them unlock their full potential in science and beyond.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge children and young people.
- Foster a positive learning environment that supports children and young people's educational and personal growth.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to ensure student success.
- Participate in school activities, extracurricular programs, and professional development opportunities.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- A qualification in SEND education is desirable.
- Experience of working with children with SEND and ASC
- Experience in teaching science
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate children and young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching methods.
