We are currently working with a school based in Surrey, to start September 2025 on a full time basis.

The Speech and Language Therapist (SaLT) will provide therapy services in partnership with carers, educators, and relevant agencies. Responsibilities include identifying caseloads, assessing and reviewing interventions aligned with EHCP objectives, and planning suitable individual and group therapy strategies. The therapist will attend progress reviews, collaborate with colleagues for integrated care, and focus on emotional, communication, and physical needs.

Core Responsibilities
  • Coordinate therapy interventions to meet the needs outlined in EHCPs.
  • Manage therapy caseload while adhering to professional standards.
  • Deliver verbal and written reports to stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and the therapy team.
  • Implement evidence-based strategies and measure outcomes.
  • Participate in EHCP reviews and staff training sessions.
  • Enable pupils to achieve their potential by addressing barriers to learning.
  • Maintain relationships with pupils and carers, providing guidance on therapeutic programmes.
  • Promote pupil welfare and adhere to safeguarding policies.
  • Build trust and collaboration within teams.
